Other green products are biodegradable, recyclable or compostable. Hence, they do not harm the environment or upset the ecological balance when they are disposed of.

Water Conservation Advice At Home
Water conservation plays a big role in Eco friendly living and there are a number of ways to save water with in a home itself.
- Wash your fruits and vegetables by hand in a basin, and then use the dish water for outdoor gardens.
- Disconnect your home's downspout from the municipal drains. When the rain flows straight into your yard or into cisterns, you have to water less and the earth regulates all that water before it floods your municipality's streams, rivers or lakes.
- Avoid leaks at home, If you have an automatic refilling device, check your pool periodically for leaks.
- Don't let faucets run. Never water your lawn at midday. Place a brick in old toilets. Take low flow short showers. Run the dishwasher only when it is full. Let grass grow longer.
